The Watchguard Solar Powered Floodlight with Motion Sensing Activation uses 36 super bright LEDs to provide clear light sufficient to illuminate pathways, driveways, entrance-ways and general areas. Powered by a rechargeable battery in a weatherproof housing, the fitting can be easily installed in any location without the need for mains power to be present. The battery is charged by the solar panel supplied with the unit. The solar panel comes with 4 metre of cable allowing it to be remotely mounted and angled to catch the best sun. The Solar Floodlight has a built in motion detector which senses movement within a 5 metre range and turns the light on. This turns the light into an effective security or safety light around buildings, yards, gates or sheds without the need to run lights all night unnecessarily, saving you money.
